Rising Star Coffee Roasters: Premier Cafe in Lakewood for Artisanal Coffee & Cozy Vibes

Out of Phoenix, Roasted, and Rising Star… nothing beats Rising Star. Trust me. I’ve been coming here multiple times a week for over 4 years now. The staff has remained relatively the same in that time and they are all so friendly (new employees are too). Rising Star makes all of their syrups in house unlike Roasted- Rising Star also uses minimal ingredient oat milk unlike Phoenix and Roasted which use big name brands that have additives and chemicals. Don’t get me wrong, Phoenix also makes all of their syrups from scratch and is filled with great employees. I just prefer minimal ingredient plant milks. I feel good knowing when I drink a latte from Rising Star I’m drinking something that isn’t processed and filled with junk. I do miss when they had Floressa baked goods. They now sell Philomena which I doesn’t compare in quality or taste and is overpriced. Regardless, the next time you go to roasted for the atmosphere and end up dumping your coffee out because it takes like milk and garbage- I hope you find your way to Rising Star

My first time visiting Rising Star was a very pleasant experience. I sat down to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. To my surprise they even draw cute stuff in the fuzz on top of your drink. So cool. I was a bit hungry and a bit disappointed when they did not serve food, but hey...their a coffee shop!! There are a good amount of beverage options, though. Between many coffees and teas that they have available you should be able to find something that suits your fancy. The atmosphere here is a really strong selling point. It's very chill and relaxed. A great place to work or study if you can do so on the go. If you're like me and like to eat when drinking tea and/studying then you can pick up a quick bite from some of the surrounding restaurants. ^_^

I love latte from Rising Star. Nice place, good location. Price corresponds to the quality. Very nice service, the workers are polite and positive. Design of the room is simple, but has small art details that make it more interesting. I am also very grateful for the presentation of the coffee. It is important for me when not only the taste but also the appearance of my order is good.

Oh my god, I like totally always love hitting up Rising Star Coffee, you know? This morning I had the most delish cappuccino ever. And, like, I’m obsessed that it comes with seltzer water to, like, cleanse your palate—so fancy, right? They even put a couch in the side room now? It’s, like, super comfy and perfect for doom scrolling for hours. So, like, I made this totally cute photo collage of the current artists on the wall and my coffee and the, like, amazing vibe there. Seriously, it’s like the best spot ever!"

Most folks doing know this particular location has a head shop attached to it. I was able to get a latte and the cheapest candy cane bong available in the world! I checked the prices online; this place was $10 cheaper. Anyway, their small yet eclectic collection of smoking supplies and water pipes should not be overlooked because there are some real gems in there almost always! The staff is always friendly, and I always stay and small talk when they aren't super busy.

A really chill spot with great coffee! If you want a place to sit and chat with friends or space out for a lil bit, come here! If you are trying to study I don’t recommend it, the music is a bit loud (totally preference based) and its a more social coffee shop, at least thats what I gathered from the day I was there.

This place is 5 stars all day. Gorgeously silky cappuccino. Perfectly drip coffee. I go out of my way to stop here whenever I am visiting Cleveland.
